The Foundation
Our journey began with our father, the late Maallem Hassan Bellamine, a revered master craftsman whose skill and artistry left an enduring mark on Moroccan architecture. His creations, such as the grand cupola of the Mausoleum Mohamed V in Rabat in 1971, remain iconic symbols of Islamic art.
Following his passing, our eldest brother, Kamal Bellamine, worked with all his brothers and led our family’s craft with distinction until his untimely passing. Now, some of the brothers Farouk, Mohamed, and Mouad Bellamine continue to uphold our father’s legacy, carrying forward both his artistic vision and commitment to sharing Moroccan artistry on a global stage.

Achievements
Over decades, the Cooperative Bellamine has become synonymous with excellence, with our work gracing Morocco’s most esteemed landmarks. From the intricate details of The Great Hassan II Mosque to the luxurious woodwork of La Mamounia Hotel and various Royal palaces, our creations capture the essence of Moroccan design.
Beyond Morocco, our influence extends to palaces across the Gulf, including the Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi, and we’ve contributed to mosques and cultural landmarks in Europe, Africa, and institutions worldwide.
Craftsmanship at its finest
WoodartBell was born from a vision to keep Moroccan craftsmanship alive in a modern world, celebrating the artistry passed down through generations and sharing it with a global audience.
Rooted in the traditions of our ancestors, we combine time-honored techniques with refined, modern aesthetics, creating woodwork that connects cultures and tells a story of Morocco’s vibrant heritage.
Our team of artisans shares a dedication to this vision, each bringing a unique passion for detail, beauty, and authenticity. Each project is meticulously crafted from start to finish: selecting the finest woods, designing precise geometric and floral motifs, and hand-carving domes, ceilings, friezes, and panels that bring elegance and soul to any space.
National and International Recognition
Cooperative Bellamine has proudly earned numerous prestigious awards that highlight our dedication to preserving Moroccan artisanal heritage and excellence in craftsmanship.
These accolades reflect our commitment to quality and authenticity, showcased in all our projects. Each recognition fuels our passion to continue sharing the beauty of Moroccan woodwork with the world and inspires us to uphold the artistry that defines our legacy.
